The Pernixus benefits plans are designed to be consistent with and demonstrate our commitment to our mission, culture, and vision. We can achieve our goals only by attracting and retaining the highest quality staff who are committed to the success of the company. The cornerstone of our unique and versatile benefits package is the Individual Benefit Account (IBA), which gives our employees the power to apply their benefits in a manner that is best suited to their lifestyles.

Individual Benefits Account (IBA)

 

The purpose of the IBA is to give employees a flexible way to utilize benefits that best suits their lifestyle.  Whether employees value paid time off, medical coverage, flex time, or cash disbursement, the IBA provides flexibility they need.  The IBA allocates an amount of money equal to 45% of an employee’s gross salary to benefits (in addition to salary). Of the 45% put into the IBA, 25% is allocated to benefits and 20% is deposited into the Pernixus Profit Sharing Plan (PSP).

 

IBA Benefits

The benefits allocation of the IBA can be used for such things as:

 

  • Medical Insurance

  • 100% Reimbursement of Other Medical Expenses

  • Paid Time Off (Vacation & Holidays)

  • Voluntary Accident Insurance

  • Voluntary Critical Illness Insurance

  • Additional Income

 

IBA Profit Sharing Plan (PSP)

The PSP is a qualified retirement plan that is funded with the 20% IBA allocation mentioned above. This amount is provided as part of the IBA automatically, and employees are not required to contribute funds to a retirement account to receive their PSP allocation.

Flex Time and Time Off

At Pernixus, we understand that life does not happen only on evenings and weekends. We all need the flexibility to work around other priorities in our lives. Pernixus wants all our employees to have a healthy life balance, and to be able to focus on work while at work, and to focus on their personal lives when not at work.

 

Employees may flex their time as they choose (and customer needs dictate) within any month. You can work extra hours throughout the month to offset any time off you may wish to take. If you can’t make up the hours, so long as your work hours and IBA funding amounts allow you to meet the total monthly work hours, you can take off as much time as you want, whenever you want. Really! Your time is yours to manage. No waiting for vacation to accrue. No pre-assigned holidays or floating holidays. If you want time off – for any reason – just take it.
